DAVID LANHAM,
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
With more than 50 years of airline catering experience to his credit, most of it as General Manager level or above, David Lanham is well-known and respected throughout the industry. Mr. Lanham began his airline catering career as a supervisor for Ogden Corporation at Dulles Airport and quickly made his way up the ranks to become the company's Director of USA Operations. From there, Mr. Lanham worked as a Vice President at Marriott Corporation overseeing their Caribbean and Central American customer service centers.
Mr. Lanham worked as General Manager or above for several major airline catering players including Dobbs International, Ariston Flying Foods Service, Trust house Forte, and LSG Sky Chefs. He was also Senior Manager of Commisary Operations at US Airways/American Airlines. In those positions Mr. Lanham successfully managed multiple customer service centers, often simultaneously, while reducing costs, improving operations and negotiating Union Contracts.
Mr. Lanham also oversaw the successful start-up of numerous airline catering operations within airports across the United States and internationally. Currently, he specializes in identifying new business opportunities and improving the day to day operations of Express Catering’s customer service centers.
CLAUDIA HINES, ESQ.
Ms. Hines was born in Bogota, Colombia. She immigrated to the United States in 1978, and became a naturalized U.S. Citizen in 1981. She speaks English, Spanish and has formally studied Greek, Arabic & Italian.
Claudia Hines opened Hines & Associates, PLLC over 16 years ago. Miss Hines earned her Juris Doctor (JD) from The University of Toledo College of law in 1999.
After graduating law school Ms. Hines worked at Butzel Long In Detroit, Michigan and in 2001, she accepted a recess appointment as Legal Counsel with the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) in Washington, DC.
While at the USITC, Ms. Hines worked extensively on various trade issues involving the U.S. and Italy, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Canada, Japan, China and France, among others, aiding in injury determinations and the imposition of anti-dumping & counterveiling duties. She also took part in the Steel Section 201 Safeguard investigation, which was initiated at the request of the White House by strong urging from the United Steelworkers of America in June of 2001.
After fulfilling her recess appointment with the USITC, Miss Hines remained in the Washington, DC area and opened her own law practice. She practices in the areas of Corporate and Immigration Law.
PAUL GURMAN, CPA
Paul Gurman is the founder and managing member of Gurman & Company, PLLC.
Mr. Gurman has over 35 years experience as a CPA and his goal is to help his clients accomplish their financial objectives, by focusing on more than just they numbers. He understands what it takes to start, run, grow, and sell a business.
Prior to Gurman & Co., Mr. Gurman worked as an auditor for several large international accounting firms. He specializes in merger and acquisition planning, sophisticated tax planning, auditing and business growth planning and consulting, as well as financial planning, record keeping, and reporting.
