Frank Fumich,
CEO


  • Frank Fumich, a 1992 West Virginia University graduate in Business and Finance, entered the business world early by co-owning a food service establishment at Washington National Airport. After managing a successful restaurant at Ronald Reagan National Airport, he founded Express Catering, Inc. in 2000, to address the unmet needs in airline catering. From a solo venture, the company has grown to over 150+ employees, operates a 35+ catering truck fleet in three cities, and services over 600 flights daily.

    Beyond his business success, Mr. Fumich is an extreme ultra-endurance athlete and a devoted family man. His global adventurous pursuits aim to push personal limits, reflecting a belief in the transformative power of overcoming challenges. Committed to philanthropy, he has raised over half a million dollars for various causes, combining his passion for adventure with charitable initiatives. Looking forward, Mr. Fumich aspires to further expand his business while continuing his philanthropic endeavors.

David Lanham,
VP of Operations


  • With over 50 years in airline catering, David Lanham, renowned for his General Manager roles, has a track record of success. He managed key positions at major players like Dobbs International and LSG Sky Chefs, overseeing multiple customer service centers, reducing costs, and negotiating union contracts. Specializing in startup success, Lanham currently focuses on business opportunities and operational improvements at Express Catering's service centers.

Wade Wells,
VP of Business Development


  • Wade Wells, an aviation professional with degrees in Air Transport Administration, began his career at 15 in Iowa. He earned his Pilot's License and worked for Delta and Continental subsidiaries during his undergraduate years. Wade served as Station Manager for Delta in Omaha, NE, and Des Moines, IA.

    After obtaining his Masters, he taught Airline Operations at the University of Nebraska and served on its Advisory Board. In 2014, Wade became Regional Manager of Catering Operations at American Airlines, overseeing the CLT Hub.

    In June 2023, Wade joined Express Catering as VP of Business Development, managing contracts and providing operational support.

Banu Ermis,
Administrative Manager


  • Banu Ermis holds a degree in American Literature and Pedagogy, giving her a unique understanding of interpersonal communications, learning, and skill acquisition. She began her personal life as a hiring and training manager for Estee Lauder Companies, applying a keen attention to detail and business strategy. Before immigrating to the United States with her family, Banu continued her corporate endeavors as advertising and sales manager for Elle Magazine, as well as a catering sales and public relations manager for a restaurant group. She joined Express Catering in August 2013 and is currently working as Administrative Manager.

Paul Gurman,
CPA

  • Mr. Gurman has over 35 years experience as a CPA and he understands what it takes to start, run, grow, and sell a business. Mr. Gurman has worked as an auditor for several large international accounting firms. He specializes in merger and acquisition planning, auditing and business growth planning and consulting, as well as financial planning, record keeping, and reporting.
